Tom Perrott

Managing Director and Owner

Tom commenced Perrott Painting in 1994. Tom holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Western Australia.

Perrott Painting today reflects Tom’s attitudes of strongly valuing fairness and respect for both customers and staff. As the owner of Perth’s most well recognised and reputable painting business, Tom is extremely proud of the accomplishments made by him and his staff over the last 20 years.

Tom is active in the daily operation of the business and enjoys greatly the successes of seeing people develop through his business into new roles within the company.

We are proud to be able to offer painting solutions in so many variations. We have many 20 year clients and maintenance contracts in their 3rd roll over period. We believe (our clients tell us) this demonstrates our comittment and strong relationships with our clients.

Clay Yarwood

Sales Manager

Clay joined Perrott Painting in June 2012 as our Business Development Manager and, since joining the team, has found a renewed passion for helping clients with their painting requirements.

With almost 20 years experience in the commercial painting industry Clay has brought a wealth of knowledge to our company during this current time of growth. A qualified Quantity Surveyor, Clay began in the industry as an estimator. He then was in Sales for a number of years, before running a regional Branch where he was able to put the quoting, sales, operations and administration skills together.

He has also been the State Manager for one of the national maintenance companies. "Since joining Tom, I've been amazed at how focused the whole business is on delivering the best outcome for our clients. I'd forgotten how fulfilling it is to work directly for the owner of a local company, whose main focus is on client satisfaction."

Clay was promoted to Sales Manager in April 2014.

Bruce Hermiston

Project Manager

Bruce is responsible for the quality and performance of all the work we do. He is very well supported by other project managers and foremen. Bruce has been responsible for the tremendous reputation we have for delivering our services on time and always to a standard expected.  

Bruce commenced working at Perrott Painting in 1994 at the inception of the business.  Bruce is a Painter by trade and had previously worked as a supervisor at Gardner Perrott. He has a wealth of knowledge in the painting industry and is widely regarded by his peers.  

Bruce is a very strong supporter of our apprentices and enjoys developing them into excellent tradespeople. Many of them remain working with us today. He is respected by our workforce and our clients.

Chris Parkes

Project Estimating Manager

Chris has been involved in the painting industry for 24 years. Commencing his painting career at the age of 16, Chris is today our Senior Project Estimator.

Chris is a registered professional painter by trade who has worked in all facets of the painting industry, production,  estimating and project management.

Chris is an expert in access solutions, whether it is machinery access or working with scaffolders to ensure safe and productive work areas. This is a significant part of our business that involves many of our tradespeople in our daily operations.

Chris is highly respected by our clients and suppliers for his honesty, integrity and knowledge of coating applications and materials.

“I have worked for a proud local family for 24 years successfully competing against national organisations. My goal is to supply the most suitable product choices and cost guidlines for each project. Our Project Management Team then provide great service creating the much desired "Win Win" result. Our service and non subcontract approach enables me to be very proud and confident of what we offer".

Michael Castrilli

Project Estimator

Michael joined Perrott Painting as an apprentice Painter and Decorator in April 2006. Upon completion of his apprenticeship in 2009, Michael was made a site foreman for small painting jobs, however as time progressed he found himself in charge of some larger and more complex jobs.

In August of 2012, after 6 years and 4 months of experience in the Painting industry, Michael was asked to join the Estimating team alongside Chris Parkes. Michael now provides estimates and quotations for jobs from $1,000 right up to $100,000+.

Darren Goode

Project Supervisor

After 20 years in the painting industry working for himself, Darren joined Perrott Painting in 2008. Much like other employees at Perrott, Darren began working in a team environment, and after 18 months became one of the leading hands.

Darren soon realised the opportunities Perrott Painting had to offer painters with the right ambition. From small day jobs on his own, to managing a team and a range of  projects, the experience he has gained has been invaluable.

Darren’s dedication and hard-working nature has since earned him the position of Project Supervisor.

Barry Haydinger

Business Development Manager

Barry has over 30 years experience in the WA Painting industry, with his initial introduction into the paint contracting industry with the Perrott family business back in 1986.

Barry has a Certificate/ Diploma in Sales & Marketing and has a determined focus on excellent customer service.

He also spent some time on the then Master Painters Association board and currently represents Perrott Painting in a number of Associations in various industries including private school (ASBA & CPPA), the Australian Institute of Hotel Engineers (AIHE) and Aged Care (ACSWA).

He has developed strong long-term relationships with many major customers within the WA commercial property market and has a commitment to supply of a quality service. His knowledge of the best products available to solve any problems and experience within the WA coating industry ensures the best outcome for Perrott Painting customers.

Administration Team

When you call our office one of our friendly staff will answer the call and take all of your details.  Our office staff reflect the same culture and professsionalism you will find right through our company. 

Beverley has been managing office environments for many years and assists with all apsects of our business.

Sonia started with us in April 2014 as the company's Financial Controller.

Alana joined the company back in May 2012, but has now gone casual since the arrival of her second child.
