The timber work to Building 1 was looking very grey and dry so it needed cleaning and oiling to bring back some of its original colour.
The project required various access machines and traffic management to allow us to reach all areas. All the timber was power washed to remove the dirt that had built up over many years. Once cleaned, we applied multiple coats of timber oils which will prevent the timber from deteriorating in the future.
The whole project needed to be completed with minimal disruption to staff, students and visitors and we are confident this was achieved.
