Perrott Painting were asked to undertake exterior painting works to areas at the Terry Tyzack Aquatic Centre as part of a major refurbishment being undertaken by the City of Stirling.
Many trades (including other painting companies) were involved in this project and we were specifically engaged to undertake the repaint of the underside of the grandstand awning, as well as some more minor works such as the picnic shelters and some interior works to the main building.
The major work was to the grandstand awning which presented many challenges. Artistic paintwork to the grandstand steps had already been undertaken by others so great care had to be taken not to damage this paintwork in any way. Accessing the awning from various heights due to the stepped seating was also interesting and we had specialized “stepped” mobile scaffolding built that could be moved along the length of the awning.
The new and improved facility is now open to the public and we are very proud to have been involved in this impressive refurb which is a fantastic facility for the local community.
